I’ve been off the blog for a bit, recovering from the Infield Exposed launch chaos and the LA GTG LIVE Seminar we did last weekend. I’m working on getting a bit more work and life balance going. I resurrected some of my old hobbies like shooting, sailing, and Xbox (check out “Bioshock” if you haven’t already, I couldn’t put it down till I finished it). But people have been emailing me about the blog (yes, the RSS feed functionality is coming soon) so our staff has now mandated at least one blog a week. I love writing these things, sometime’s there is just too little time!

Our Get the Girl! LIVE seminar in LA last weekend was an off-the-hook success. We had 20 guys at the seminar and 5 went out in field with us. The field reports on Sunday from the guys that went out by themselves were great! Everybody make progress. The infield students and the coaches (there were 3 coaches for 5 guys) and me ended up parting in the VIP at Rapture and the night ended with the whole lot of us surrounded by women. Here are some pics:




Since the VH1 show, I’ve been noticing more girls “picking up” that me and students are pickup artists. What is hilarious is that this just makes for easier attraction. At our first infield venue, there were loads and loads of couples. I sent in one of the students to a couple set. The girl was all smiling and happy. The student ran out of stuff to say and ejected, but before he ejected, he blew the guy out pretty decisively and had the girl all up on him. The second he ejected the girl started giving her guy shit tons of kino to make him feel better about the whole experience. Since buying temperature is transferable, I’m sure they had hot sex that night. But before any of that, she grabbed her boyfriend and sauntered into a group of me and 4 students or so as we were breaking down her set …

HB: “Aren’t you on the pickup artist!”
Me: “Lady …. I have NOOOOO idea what you are talking about!” (over the top denial)
HB: “No … but I totally SAW you on that show!”
Me: “This girl …. Is totally WHACKY!… bro!” (sideways hug kino while addressing her boyfriend in front of students)
HB: “No, for REAL … you were ON that show!”
Me: “I can’t stand her … years in therapy and we’re still on the same ISSUE!” (more hug kino)
HB: “C’mon … “ (reverse kino from her – she is capitulating the frame battle to me here and I give her one more tease for good measure and then calibrate back the other way with verbal and kino rewards then bust into qualification …)
Me: “Bro … you found one from the LOONEY bin!” (I’m pretty much holding her sideways now without letting go right in front of the BF).
Me: “ok … ok … ok … we can be real together (I turn her to face me and more hugging happens) … what is your special secret superpower?” (I’m stacking forward into qualification/comfort)

Now she is really into me.

Note that all the attraction above was just passing 3.5 shit tests in a row combined with simultaneous kino escalation when I’m giving her verbal value via passing the shit tests. Just like I talk about in the Get the Girl! book, all you have to do to pass a shit test is explicitly positively subcommunicate and then snip and stack.

When you do that you should almost always kino escalate. The sideways hug is great for this. As per Microloop Theory, when you pass a shit test you are giving her value, so you can simultaneously escalate.

This results in hilarious shit happening – like getting a girl that trying to catch you for ”being a pick up artist,” and, instead, her ending up being totally attracted in 25 seconds flat.

After that demo, the student’s got, for real, that being ‘caught’ doesn’t matter also long as you keep passing shit tests!

Once I got done demonstrating to the students, her and her guy got in a convo with us about the game. The guy was all like “Ya man I read the GAME, I totally GET it NOW!” While his girl kept IOIing me and simultaneously saying that none of this stuff works on her. At least the guy didn’t try to AMOG me and therefore made some serious headway with her by being cool in front of his girl.

Logic never matters, only emotion when you are in her presence.

Bottom line, whoever has logistics at the end of the night with the girl, is the guy that gets the girl! If a guy has enough pull with his girlfriend to always get logistics then PUAs gaming her is GOOD FOR HIM.

Like I said before, the student’s all rocked it at both venues and made heavy duty progress. It was awesome to see everybody’s progress, particularly the guys who only took the seminar and told me what happened the next day!

You see, I have a master plan!

It never made any sense to me to try to teach a guy both infield and book knowledge in one weekend.

Every time I taught a Mystery Method camp back in the day we would get a lot of new guys freaking out in field because they got information overload during the seminar. Guys that were still processing info and would get shoved into set by a Marine Corps mentality of “NUT THE FUCK UP AND OPEN THAT SET BEHIND YOU … RIGHT NOW … PRIVATE!”

This worked great for some guys, but for most guys it was a bit too hard core for their first night out, as they don’t have time to absorb the material.

So I had an idea:

Why not split the seminar and the infield into separate weekends and charge the same amount of money but give them even more time infield!

This way guys get a ton of education and time to absorb it.

You see, you NEED the entirety of the book knowledge … and you also NEED to be able to do it unconsciously in field.

The book knowledge we cover at the seminar.

Unconscious infield skills are honed by going out yourself and going out with an instructor.

Here is the problem with the way infield education was getting done before:

Guys were given no time to practice unconscious infield skill basics before they were thrust into an expensive infield environment that they were supposed to get a ton out of.

Guess what happened?

We told them all night long to not lean in, and keep their feet apart and they got to see some demos.

Do you really want to spend $3000 or more to be told not to lean in and keep your feet apart?

Nope.

So we felt this was the solution:

Every time we do one or more GTG LIVE Seminars, a few months later, a GTG LIVE Infield Intensive will be announced in the same city or nearby. We also offer an infield for one night at the time of the seminar to a few guys that feel they are advanced enough to be able to learn from it.

This way, for new guys that want infield bootcamp instruction, they will have time between the Seminar and Infield Intensive to go out and practice and internalize the basics themselves.

Then when you get to the Infield Intensive we will be able to get cracking on your sticking points and spend time teaching you advanced stuff like Microloop kino escalation and same night pulling.

Now you get two bootcamps and four times the education because you have absorption time. All that for less money than a lot places charge for a single bootcamp.

Get it?

I wanted to make a LIVE education infrastructure that actually worked without breaking the bank.

A ton of guys have been asking for infield. I’ve been keeping quiet about it while I put together the master plan. Now you know!

My philosophy on how best to learn in live settings is to separate the infield from the initial learning to allow for absorption time. No one can work around absorption time. During absorption time you can make major headway in learning the basics intuitively after having the knowledge in your head. Once you have the basics internalized then you will be able to have lightning progress on a 3 day infield intensive.

DJFuji, one of our new (bad ass) coaches was chilling with me at Mel’s diner in LA a few weeks back and said to me, “You know … I feel like learning pickup is like learning to play an instrument … it simply can’t be done overnight!” I couldn’t agree more.

Trying to learn it all in one weekend is like taking your first guitar lesson in the day and then that night being asked to perform.

It just doesn’t work.
